Simple and Easy to set-up
The DreamScaler integrates advanced picture controls and high level automation capabilities. Connect and choose between the 13 input video sources of the DreamScaler 4 to one of the two available outputs to watch your favorite movie or TV program comfortably installed in your Home Cinema.
With the DreamScaler 4, home automation and picture calibration has never been such an easy step. Even when using custom format screens or different sources, the DreamScaler 4 makes your installation un child's play.
PReP™
The Dreamscaler 4 introduces the Progressive Re-Processing technology that processes poor progressive signal as an original interlace source, and thus apply the Precision De-interlacing™ algorithms to inverse-cine, film mode de-interlace. This virtually gives the advantage to magnify any interlaced or progressive source into a pure, motion artefact-free 1080p video signal.
VRS™ Engine enchanced
The entire architecture of the VRS engine has been reviewed and designed with more complex and sophisticated algorithms, the 10 bits processor competes with the most powerful professional equipment giving finer controls over the picture.
Color management and Ambient Light presets.
The new integrated Color Management allows you to calibrate any source to your display by featuring a precise RGB Gamma, Offset and Gain corrections. The Ambient Light presets are useful to quickly adapt the picture settings to your light environment and enjoy at any time of the day the best picture possible.
Full HD and True Cinema 1080p24
The powerfull processor of the Dreamscaler 4 can fully process any video signal up to 1080p resolutions, that includes the prestigious film cadenced 1080p24 format. That means also that the scaler can be used to adapt the unusual formats like 1080p24 to the best resolution and framerate of your display without lags or motion artefacts.
Mosquito Noise Reduction
The Mosquito Noise is produced by the inherent artifacts of high level compression methods currently used for broadcast TV and compressed videos. As the process used during the compression is well known, it can be reversed to obtain the original picture. PReP™ with De-interlacing™ processing can then clean up and improve the active input. Thanks to the optionnal video processings such as Fine Detail, Edge Enhancement and sharpness control, you will be able to discover once again all your favorite movies.
Theatre Mode
The exclusive Theatre Mode is optimized to operate with the Theatre System kit. The Dreamscaler is easy to install to operate the anamorphic kit. Once installed, you just have to press a button to enjoy a movie in its native Cinemascope® aspect ratio. Reverse back to standard 16:9 projection with one button.
